There’s lots to do both at home and out and about as we head into the final week before the big day itself. We’ve rounded up the best free things to do in Manchester this week, including a lit-up Levenshulme window trail and a virtual storytime with Father Christmas for the kids – read on to find out more…

Levenshulme Community Christmas Windows Trail | Mon 14 Dec | 5.30pm - 10pm

Levenshulme locals will already be familiar with Levenshulme Community Christmas Windows, which for the past two years have lit up the streets of Levy with festive sparkle. This year, the trail will take a slightly different form: use the map to follow a fairy-lit, socially distanced window trail and spot all the Levenshulme businesses and homes who have brought a little light to dark times.
