Next month will see the return of the massively popular indie cinema Chapeltown Picture House over at GRUB. Direct yourself to the Red Bank Project this May and join the Chapeltown family as they usher in some absolute classic cult cinema for their re-reopening week, running from Monday 17 until Sunday 23 May.
For just £7.50 a ticket you can enjoy fan favourites such as; The Lord of the Rings trilogy, Inglorious Basterds, Schwarzenegger’s iconic golden ticket adventure Last Action Hero and a frighteningly good horror double with Demons I & II presented via the venue’s 4K digital projector.
To make the cult-cinema experience even more appetising, prior to their film attendees will be able to indulge in some of the most delicious street food Manchester has to offer as the cinema itself is housed inside the established street food vendor venue Grub. Classic picture house snacks like ice-cream and fresh popcorn will be available to patrons throughout the performances, as well as 22 taps of craft beer, bespoke cocktails, wines and locally produced soft drinks.
The venue is COVID compliant and is currently 100% cashless to reduce physical contact. For a full film listing check out their website here.
