Hosted by Platt Fields Market and Hello Creameries, the Autumn Food & Wine Fair is an opportunity to gather together and celebrate some of the wonderful food & drink on offer in the city and to raise funds for Eat Well MCR and Manchester Urban Diggers. Food will come from The Creameries, Isca, Erst and Things Palace; with wine courtesy of Wines Under the Bonnet and others; and cocktails from James Galton of Where the Light Gets In.
Workshops, Q&As and tastings will be running throughout the day, with DJ sets from Living Room Dance Club and That Amazing Thing! The fair will also raise essential funds to help support the work of both Manchester Urban Diggers and Eat Well MCR- two organisations that open access to the kinds of food we often take for granted, to those without easy access to it.
All-day tickets cost £40 and include 10 tokens to exchange for food, drink and workshops at the fair. Additional tokens will be available to purchase on-site should you wish to top up. There is a £5 discount for anyone who is unwaged – just apply coupon UNWAGED at the checkout. You can also buy half-day tickets for £25.
Worried about the weather? No need! There will also be rain cover on both the green main area and in the Froghouse where the workshops will be running.
Check out this great community event and experience the bringing together of some of Manchester’s best-loved restaurants, wine importers, growers and brewers to cook, eat, drink and chat in the beautiful city oasis of Platt Fields Market Garden.
