We have already chosen a top five of our favourite shows for the Women In Comedy Festival (which you can read here) but there were so many to choose from we thought we’d add a few into our weekly round-up.

Lily Phillips: Smut | Tue 5 Oct | 9.15pm | £5

This will be Lily Phillips debut hour of comedy but you may already be aware of her from her appearances on ITV’s The Stand-Up Sketch Show or her podcast with Esther Manito ‘Ghastly Women’. One of the most exciting new voices in comedy Phillips’ debut hour was going to be about feminism but is now going to be about her dog and all the complicated ins and outs that come with dog ownership and human relations.

Hayley Ellis: The Invisible Mam | Thu 7 Oct | 7.50pm | £5

A long time favourite of the comedy circuit and a stand-up who has opened for the likes of Sarah Millican and John Bishop is finally doing a nationwide tour of her own with brand new show ‘The Invisible Mam’. However that’s not til 2022 so if you want in on the ground floor on what’s sure to be a hilarious skewering of motherhood the only way Ellis can then check out this work in progress show at Gullivers on Thursday.
