Withington Public Hall (photo here by Steve Longbottom) is a not-for-profit social enterprise, which came into being after the ‘Lock Inn’ pop-up pubs occurred, which were held in disused buildings in Withington. It’s a unique multi-purpose venue that provides a space for the community to utilise and enjoy. The hall is a friendly and welcoming place offering an ace choice of Manchester’s food vendors and brewers, along with a diverse events programme (including cinema, comedy, drawing classes and choir practice). Better still, they have a ton of food pops up coming up throughout the month to sit alongside their authentic Italian resident kitchen, Basilico Pizza.
Friday 15th & Saturday 16th – Mama Z @cookingwithmamaz – Filipino flavours, aromatic grilled BBQ choices and a stir fry tofu dish feature on the amazingly delicious menu.
Friday 22nd – Twisted Meal @thetwistedmeal – Soul food with a Mexican twist, with burgers, burritos and fries. Gluten free goodness!
Saturday 23rd – Produce Market including Potters Pies @potters.pies and more locally grown / made food and goods.
