Renowned as one of the UK’s most ambitious art events, Manchester Art Fair returns to the city in November.

The event, which is sponsored by White Circle, will take place across Sat 20 Nov-Sun 21 Nov, unveiling a line-up of exhibiting galleries and artists, partnerships and a particular focus on the hot topic of Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs).

This year’s fair will attempt to demystify the world of NFTs, explaining exactly how they work, offering advice on purchasing and their link to cryptocurrency. There will also be exhibitors appearing at the fair selling a selection of exclusive NFTs.

Along with that will be more traditional mediums on display and available to buy, including modern and contemporary paintings, sculptures, photography and editioned prints.

Among the line of artists and galleries partaking are plenty of Manchester favourites like the Saul Hay Gallery (Castle Street), Contemporary Six (Princess Street), Hot Bed Press (Cow Lane), Simone Ridyard with her urban sketches and the raw expressive paintings of Ian Rayer Smith. Also joining for the first time this year are Rachel Camilleri and Nick Chaffe.

A full list of exhibitors can be viewed on the Manchester Fair website.

Fair Director Sophie Helm said, “We are really excited to part of bringing live art events back to the city with White Circle Manchester Art Fair in November, supporting the city’s cultural recovery. Our audience of art lovers will be able to buy art from over 130 galleries and artists who will be exhibiting at the fair over the weekend, as well learning more about NFTs.”

The fair opens with a launch night at Manchester Central on Fri 19 Nov, from 5pm-9pm, followed by public days on Sat 20 Nov (10am-6pm) and Sun 21 Nov (10am-4pm).

We’ve secured 200 free tickets to give away to Manchester Wire readers, which you can claim using the link below.
