The Butcher’s Quarter will host their third supper club, this time drafting in the help of new Northern Quarter wine favourite, Ad Hoc.

Touted as a relaxed evening of exceptional food from the shop’s mouthwatering selection of fresh produce, a selection of expertly-chosen wines will be poured to compliment accordingly.

Wandering Palate's introduction to natural wine | Wed 17 Nov | 6.30pm | £27

Still something of a hidden gem, Monton’s Wandering Palate is a delightful little spot specialising in wine, craft ale and delicious charcuterie.

Honing in on the wine side of things, the venue will host an evening dedicated to the natural wine phenomenon that has taken over Manchester in the past few months.

Visitors will be guided through a tasting of Pet Nat, orange wine, natural white and red by Italian wine expert Andrea Asciamprener. Expect a fun and interesting evening to get you started on your natural wine exploration.

It’s the event you never knew you needed until now.

One of Manchester’s most beloved breweries will host a unique evening in their shiny new taproom.

As the name suggests, guests will be able to pit their wits against one another at chess, while enjoying a soundtrack of nothing but blues music and delicious cheeses courtesy of The Crafty Cheese Man.

One ticket will get you a cheeseboard for two, and will also reserve you a chess board for the evening.

Too Many Owners - Eat Well MCR fundraising night | Wed 17 Nov | 7pm | £16.76 (inc booking fee)

Some of Manchester’s most renowned food & drink names will come together for a unique night of fundraising, that will see them battle it out to be crowned DJ Champ.

The evening will serve the worthy cause of Eat Well MCR, who do incredible work in providing chef-made meals to people sidelined by poverty in Greater Manchester.

Salt and pepper chicken. Pizza. Two of life’s greatest and most beloved treat meals. With that being said, combining the two hasn’t necessarily been at the forefront of our minds.

But we’re not as clever as the folks at Crazy Pedros…

The wonderfully eccentric pizza parlour has unveiled this month’s incredible-sounding special. The S&P features salt & pepper chicken, salt & pepper chips, spring onions & peppers, fresh chillies, curry sauce and sesame seeds.

The Blues Kitchen has teamed up with Manchester’s own DevilDog sauces to host a Flamin’ Hot Wing Challenge later this month.

The Epicurean opens their doors in Ancoats

Bringing a whopping collection of more than 500 beers that span local favourites and international rarities, The Epicurean is no doubt a more than welcome addition to Ancoats.

Already renowned throughout Disbury, Chorlton and Heaton Moor for their unrivalled knowledge of all things ale, the new bottleshop marks the first city centre venture for the team.
