Fans of all things homemade can indulge in the best of baking and crafts this week as St Anne’s Square plays host to a four day Craft and Cake Market. With Little Spain’s Mediterranean-style al fresco bar forming the centrepiece, the market will feature a weekend of art, gifts and confectionary, as well as fashion and homeware, all created by local businesses. Items on offer include books from Route Publishing Ltd., glassware from Ian Chadwick Glass Art, canvas artwork from Vortex and photography from Amy Gibbings. A selection of street food will also be available, with Rhumbah’s Caribbean dishes, Snack King’s Hong Kong-style egg rolls and Little Spain’s tapas creating tempting dishes. All this on top of a wide selection of fresh cakes and treats, there’s plenty to get your teeth sunk into at this four-day, flavoursome affair.
