Jurassic 5: Chali 2na + Akil the MC intimate show at Sound Control

Will Not Be Televised are known for bringing hip hop to the people, welcoming their acts into the Manchester family and simultaneously making sure fans get up close and personals. As well as the recent Big Daddy Kane bank holiday special, their impressive roster of shows so far has included superstars both homegrown and international, from Pharoahe Monch and Raekwon to Dayse & Aver and the Four Owls. Last year they brought Akil from Jurassic 5 over to Dulcimer where he opened up the stage to a host of Manc MCs – a family affair all round. Now Jurassic 5 have reformed and are hitting the Parklife stage, you can catch an intimate show with Akil and the most prominent rapper from the outfit: the world famous, huge-handed Chali 2na. Support comes from WNBT mischief makers Dr Syntax, Pete Cannon and Konny Kon.
