Dokes Pizzeria, the renowned pizza concept from the team behind Elnecot, will open their latest spot in Prestwich this month.

The team’s ‘Anglo-Saxon’ approach to pizza making will see British produce take centre stage. After extensive research over the last five years at the wonderful Elnecot, Chef-Patron Michael Clay has worked with a long list of incredible producers across the country.

The new spot, a move from the brand’s original spot in Society Food Hall, will open on 449A Bury New Road for lunch and dinner from 12pm – 10pm from Wednesday to Friday, then 10am – 10pm on Saturday and Sunday.

Guests can expect cheeses from all corners of the UK, salamis and nduja from Curing Rebels in Brighton and exquisite truffles from Wiltshire. They will also be working with Cinderwood Farm in Cheshire using their wonderful fruit and vegetables on the ever-changing menu.

Where contemporary meets rustic, the dough at Dokes Pizzeria is made using extra virgin rapeseed oil from Yorkshire and a blend of flours, using British heritage grains from Gilchesters organic farm in Northumberland, as well as Shipton Mill in Gloucestershire, providing a truly unique recipe.

Beyond pizzas the menu will feature seasonal salads and pastas (pasta supplied by the Yorkshire Pasta Company) which will sit alongside other small plates that will change regularly depending on what produce is available in that season. Brunch will also be served on the weekend.

Chef-Patron of Dokes Pizzeria, Michael Clay said, “We are really looking forward to opening in Prestwich; it really felt like the perfect location and in the short time I’ve spent there, it seems to have a real community feel and strong spirit. We hope that we can provide a welcoming atmosphere for everyone while serving up delicious pizzas on Bury New Road.”

Doors will open on Wed 20 Jul.
