Into the business end of summer, and the Albert Hall’s calendar is looking as healthy as ever — this time with some special link-ups with a couple of our other favourite Manchester venues for good measure.

Cate Le Bon | Thu 18 Aug

Over the last fifteen years, Welsh musician and producer Cate Le Bon has toured with and worked alongside the likes of John Grant, Gruff Rhys, St Vincent, Perfume Genius, Tim Presley and many more.

Fresh from the release of her acclaimed second record, Pompeii—a psychedelic pop trip that brilliantly blends saxophone with an overarching melancholiness—the Welsh musician will offer audiences a glimpse at how the new material translates to the live stage.

Tune-Yards | Tue 23 Aug (Band on the Wall)

In a crossover we can firmly get behind, the Albert Hall has teamed up with Gorilla to present a special one-off, intimate show from Tune-Yards.

It follows a triumphant show at the Albert Hall back in 2018, and offers fans the chance to hear material from her new record Sketchy.

Xenia Rubinos | Wed 31 Aug (YES Basement)

After ‘re-learning how to make music’, Xenia Rubinos has reemerged bigger and better than ever. Her gloriously cinematic new record, Una Rosa, was met with widespread acclaim — a feature-length opus journeying through a triumph over internal struggle. The record would feature two sides; the ‘RED’ A side — made up of hot, aggressive fiery drama, paralleled by a ‘BLUE’ B side — with more introspective, expansive moods.

Foy Vance | Wed 31 Aug

Northern Irish singer-songwriter Foy Vance has made quite the name for himself since his independently released debut album Hope in 2007, going on to support the likes of Ed Sheeran, Snow Patrol and Elton John, along with his own global sell-out tours.

BANKS | Tue 20 Sep

The immensely multi-talented American singer, songwriter, producer, poet and director BANKS comes to the Albert Hall this autumn, fresh from the release of her innovative, sublime fourth record Serpentina.
