Tour shows from The Delightful Sausage and Josh Jones plus there’s a chance to see some famed TikTok-ers in the flesh as Chris Hall and Mark Bittlestone take over XS Malarkey.
When The Delightful Sausage announced they were filming another special at Chapeltown Picture House it sold out almost immediately. Thankfully they’ve added a matinee performance for those who like their meat-themed sketch comedy before they’ve had their tea. Nowt But Sea was one of the best-reviewed shows at this year’s Fringe and the Sausage were once again nominated for Best Show at the festival’s awards.
Another night, another award-nominated comedian bringing a show to the city, this time from Manchester’s own Josh Jones. After garnering a Best Newcomer nod at this year’s Fringe Josh is taking his highly-rated show Waste of Space to the Frog for a Sunday night of some big catty laughs from one of the most exciting young comics in the country. Though he’s only been around a few short years Jones has already racked up a fine collection of TV appearances including 8 Out of 10 Cats and Late Night Mash. The future is now for this incredible talent.

Although it was virtually impossible to launch a stand-up career IRL between 2020 and 2021, some found their feet in the virtual world by creating sketches on TikTok. Two such comedy superstars Chris Hall and Mark Bittlestone will continue their tentative real-life stand-up journey with a double headline slot at this Tuesday’s XS Malarkey.
