Randy Feltface makes his first appearance at XS Malarkey’s new venue, Joey Page headlines a strong bill in Chorlton and there are free laughs to be had at The Laughienda.

Randy Feltface at XS Malarkey | Tue 31 Jan | 7.30pm | £3/6

Although XS Malarkey have now been in their new venue of Canvas for the last two weeks it won’t truly feel like home until they’ve welcomed Randy Feltface to the stage. The Antipodean puppet is one of the most consistently hilarious marionettes currently performing and always smashes an XS set. A great way to christen the new space.

The Laughienda Comedy Club at Lions Den Bar | Thu 2 Feb | 7.30pm | FREE

Fresh off a win for “Best open mic” at this month’s North West Comedy Awards The Laughienda continues its weekly residency at Lions Den Bar welcoming new acts and new material from more established comics. A real mixed bag where you never know who might turn up to try out some stuff. Or who you might see at the beginning of an incredible future career. Always worth a punt. Especially when that punt is free.
