Famed creative design outfit, Microdot, have opened a new retail store on King Street that ‘combines retail theatre with a museum vibe’.

The group are responsible for the record sleeve artwork for everything released by both Oasis and The Verve through the 90s.

The new store features an array of music memorabilia designed exclusively by Microdot and commissioned by the bands themselves.

Promising ‘a range of work with prices to suit all budgets’ stock dates from 1990 to the present day, including super rare one-off pieces and signed items.

Currently on display and on loan from Oasis guitar legend Bonehead, is the original fireplace from the front cover of Definitely Maybe, with fans more than welcome to grab a photo alongside.

Speaking about the new space, Microdot founder Brian Cannon said: “We are very excited to be in Manchester, bringing with us a unique offering, friendly and knowledgeable staff, and a great place to hang out.”
