The Good Food Guide has announced its latest roundup of Britain’s 100 Best Local Restaurants, with over 37,000 public nominations shaping the list.
All of the restaurants in the guide have been inspected by Good Food Guide inspectors, who have travelled across England, Scotland and Wales, to compile the final list.
The Sparrows led the way in the Greater Manchester segment of the guide, the latest in a long line of recognitions for the sublime Red Bank spot.
Also recognised in the region were city centre spots 10 Tib Lane, Edinburgh Castle and Another Hand.
Stockport’s Bombai to Mumbai and Ashton-Under-Line favourite Lily’s Vegetarian both took spots in the final picks, with recent opening Higher Ground completing an impressive showing for Greater Manchester.
