This Thursday, the team at Kala will be offering a special Summer Tasting Menu that is available for one night only.

After celebrating the restaurant’s fourth anniversary back in May with a similar limited-edition menu, these evenings have now become a monthly fixture and a chance for Kala’s renowned kitchen teams to showcase their culinary creativity.

This time around, guests will be treated to six courses for £55, with the option of adding a curated wine flight for £25.

The menu opens up with the snack course — deep-fried courgette and basil orzo with buffalo mozzarella. Next, for the starter, is treacle and fennel cured ham, artichoke barigoule and anchovy.

For the fish course, fresh crab agnolotti served with broad bean and tomato salsa, spring onion dressing and whey sauce.

Onto the main and diners will be treated to oak-smoked chicken breast stuffed with truffle and tarragon mousse, alongside radish, jersey royal potato salad, gooseberry and Madeira sauce.

For dessert, a choux bun, peach and cream cheese ice cream, caramelised white chocolate, fresh peach and lemon balm, followed by a final sweet course of strawberry pate de fruit.
