The Fringe is over, so if you’re wanting your comedy fix you’ll have to start frequenting the regular comedy gigs here in Manchester like XS Malarkey, Laughięnda and Didsbury Comedy Club!
The young pretender to the throne, The Laughięnda Comedy Club has fast become the city’s favourite place for comedians and punters alike in Manchester on a Thursday night. Mixing established acts with as many open mic-ers as they can fit on the bill, Laughięnda is a free night where you can chuck in a donation at the end if you feel it deserves it. And it always does.
Ending the week with their monthly Sunday slot, Didsbury Comedy Club always brings the goods with some of the biggest stars in stand-up gracing the stage. This weekend’s lineup features Brennan Reece, Paul Thorne, Victoria Olsina and Alex Boardman to give you an idea of the calibre of act you’ll be seeing in Didsbury. The perfect way to end the week.

That’s right, XS Malarkey is at 53Two. After a summer of upheaval, Manchester’s favourite comedy club has found a permanent home in the arches of Watson Street. Still packing in the same high calibre acts and rising stars from the local scene, held together by the inimitable Toby Hadoke, no one quite does it like Malarkey. Still at the low low price of £6 (£3 for members) and still the best in the business.
