Following the shock news of Hatch’s closure, one of the venue’s crowd-pleasing favourites has found itself a new space to continue operating.

Parmogeddon, which as the name suggests specialises in Middlesborough staple, Parmos, will take over the kitchen at Chorlton’s hugely popular neighbourhood bar, Electrik.

For those that haven’t sampled the delightful culinary creation, parmos generally feature chicken, rich béchamel sauce and generous layers of melted cheese, with Parmogeddon offering their own extravagant takes on the classic.

Parmogeddon is the brainchild of a dynamic duo: Kyle, a Middlesbrough-born chef, and Ellie, a fellow Northerner. They’ve taken the classic North East “Parmo” to new heights through street food events, markets, and festivals across the UK. Using the freshest locally sourced ingredients, Parmogeddon’s menu caters to both vegans and meat lovers, ensuring that everyone can savor the Parmo magic.

The team will be opening at Electrik from Thu 12 Oct, and will be serving up food seven days a week, aligning with the bar’s current opening hours.

Thu 12 Oct, Parmogeddon,
