Nabil Abdulrashid and Tom Houghton bring their new tour shows to the Frog and Lowry respectively, and Olga Koch headlines XS Malarkey.

Olga Koch at XS Malarkey | Tue 13 Feb | 7.30pm | £6/3

While their new home of 53Two continues its refurbishment, XS Malarkey are spending another week at the Anthony Burgess Foundation with Olga Koch along for the ride. She’ll be trying out some new stuff and is joined by Hatty Preston, Rachel Longmore and of course Toby Hadoke for a pretty special night. A Koch-work Orange.

Tom Houghton at The Lowry | Sat 17 Feb | 6pm & 8.30pm | £17.50

Quintessentially British comic Tom Houghton returns with his latest hour looking at the grappling match between tradition and progress. As a left-leaning comedian who’s also the son of a House of Lords lifetime peer Houghton is perfectly placed to referee the match and this show promises to provide more insight into the class war he finds himself embroiled in.

Nabil Abdulrashid at The Frog & Bucket | Sun 18 Feb | 7.30pm | £16

Nabil Abdulrashid has been everywhere of late. As seen on Live at the Apollo, Have I Got News for You, The Big Narstie Show, 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown and Unapologetic, he’s also just notched an appearance on Off Menu with Ed Gamble and James Acaster. His latest show The Purple Pill is his best yet and features his usual acerbic, polemic style on fine form.
