Nicho Box: free Mexican food and create folk art at The Gaslamp

There’s no shame in not knowing what a Nicho is – you’ll have probably seen one about and not known it was an actual proper ‘thing’. Usually mixing religious imagery and popular culture, they’re little decorative boxes made from cut-outs and found decorations – and The Gaslamp are putting on a night where you can make your own. For those with a creative side, this should be an ideal release, with materials provided for nowt – and for those who lack artistic vision, there are free mexican snacks throughout the evening, and the usual great selection of beers and ciders behind the bar.
