Spencer Jones brings his long awaited debut tour to Fairfield Social Club, Molly McGuinness and Paul Campbell start a new double act and Danny Sutcliffe is at Laughienda.
We’re delighted that The Laughienda are back on Thursday nights as it gives everyone an excuse to start their weekend early once more. One of the most fun (and free) comedy nights in town, they constantly surprise with the calibre of acts they get to come down. This week’s headliner is the wonderful Danny Sutcliffe, a long-held favourite of the Manchester scene and sensational comedian with a mix of hilarious menace and astute joke writing.
Spencer Jones heads out on what is, astonishingly, his first ever tour. The UK’s most inventive comedian, Spencer whips up stories, characters and songs courtesy of bits and bobs and beats he finds around the house. One of the true originals working in comedy, he may be better known for his TV work like The Mind of Herbert Clunkerdunk and Mister Winner but it’s his live performances that truly show his unbelievably creative and hilarious brain.

Two of Manchester’s favourite alternative comedians are joining forces for a rock opera about a local supermarket and we couldn’t be more excited. Individually Molly McGuinness and Paul Campbell have created some vividly imaginative stand-up for the last few years and are always fantastic to watch, so combined, and with a singing all dancing show thrown into the mix, we can’t wait to see what this paean to Heron Foods has in store.
