Suburbs Make Sense at The Beagle

It is inevitable that once hipsters are worn out and jaded by the Northern Quarter they will go to seed in Chorlton. Time to pop on a papoose, grow that moustache into a healthy beard and live out your remaining days decrying the vapidity of youth in the suburbs. Seemingly on a scouting mission for their journey into middle age, Common stalwarts Stop Making Sense are headed to the Edge Street bar’s younger but more mature sister bar on Barlow Moor Road for a day of live music, DJs and delicious Mexican food provided by Margo and Rita. Playing live will be Proto Idiot, the solo project of Andrew Anderson, a member of Hipshakes – who are also playing alongside Chalaque. Join SMS as they gaze at their not-too-distant future with friends and fodder. Could be worse: they could be moving to Swinton.
