Drawing on the vibrant mayhem of Lagos, the company’s ten young dancers reimagine the cycle of life in all its transcendent, triumphant bounty, backed by live music from two talented instrumentalists.
In celebration of Nigeria’s rich and globally ubiquitous musical heritage, Re:INCARNATION blends ancient Yoruba philosophy with the irrepressible spirit and precise yet unbound rhythms of the African nation’s joyous youth culture.
Set to blistering Afrobeats, an infectious fusion of jazz, soul, funk and traditional continental forms, each dancer’s personal journey bursts forth in a blaze of urban style and individual flourishes.
