Acclaimed actor and activist Khalid Abdalla (United 93, The Kite Runner, The Crown) brings together the personal and the political in this intricate and powerful solo show.

Directed by Omar Elerian, Nowhere is a charismatic anti-biography that draws on Khalid Abdalla’s involvement in the Egyptian revolution of 2011, and his experience of the counter-revolution that followed.

Exploring the themes of colonialism, friendship and loss, Khalid Abdalla takes us on an intimate journey into his own history, set against a backdrop of groundbreaking world events.

Providing thoughtful commentary on protests and uprisings against regimes across the world, including the violence in Gaza, Nowhere delves deep to ask two key questions; how did we get here, and how do we find agency through the mazes of history?

On Thursday 24 Oct, you can catch a post-show discussion, which assesses the unique challenges Arab artists currently face. Led by Khalid Abdalla in collaboration with the Palestinian Festival of Literature, it promises thought-provoking conversation.

Fuel presents Nowhere an anti-biography will conclude its UK tour from Tue 22 Oct – Sat 26 Oct at HOME. Book your tickets below.
