Fern Brady brings her latest tour show to The Lowry, Harriet Kemsley hits Cultplex and Nic Sampson headlines XS Malarkey.

Fern Brady at The Lowry | Mon 28 Oct | 7.30pm | £26

Fern Brady brings her latest hit show to The Lowry for a bonus Monday night treat. I Gave You Milk To Drink looks at Fern’s lot in life and how sometimes you can get everything you want but still find yourself wanting more. Recently in the news when puritanical social media users reported the above image as improper, Brady doesn’t suffer fools and will no doubt make hay from such notoriety. One of the best comics in the country, grab yourself some Monday night joy.

The Lowry, Pier, 8 The Quays, Salford, Manchester M50 3AZ
Nic Sampson at XS Malarkey | Tue 29 Oct | 7pm | £3/6

New Zealand’s finest and former Power Ranger Nic Sampson can add XS Malarkey headliner to his Linkedin after this Tuesday’s show. Probably best known for his role as both writer and performer in fellow Kiwi Rose Matafeo’s hit sitcom Starstruck (or as the aforementioned Yellow Power Ranger), Sampson is hilarious and self-deprecating, with a wicked turn of phrase. Another coup for the Malarkey gang.

53Two, Arch 19 Watson Street, Manchester M3 4LP
Harriet Kemsley at Cultplex | Sat 2 Nov | 7pm | £15

Everything always works out for Harriet Kemsley in her brand new tour show as she navigates a big break-up, sloths and the general maelstrom of chaos that surrounds her. Still clinging to the theory that everything will be fine, the endlessly upbeat and downright hilarious Kemsley is a winning presence that has smashed her way through the likes of Live at The Apollo, 8 Out of 10 Cats and Roast Battle. So everything will work out, won’t it?
