While there is still an electrifying schedule of gigs to come during the remaining months of 2024, Manchester’s Albert Hall has unveiled a uniquely stellar programme of live concerts from an eclectic array of international talent ahead of the new year, from punk-inflected reggae to contemplative country and beyond.
Celebrating an incredible fifty years since their formation, Birmingham-based reggae pioneers Steel Pulse present a thrillingly vibrant evening of empowering, lyrically inventive sounds which have shaped global music and inspired countless artists across various genres throughout their illustrious career.
Billed as a unique blend of roots reggae, punk, R&B and rock infusions, Steel Pulse promise to delight music-lovers of all cultures and creeds with all-embracing musical innovation and captivating instrumental flair.
On Wed 26 Mar, Virginia-born rising star Morgan Wade hits the Albert Hall stage with a one-off show following the release of her raw, intricate new album Obsessed this summer.
After bursting onto the Nashville scene as an emerging talent with her critically acclaimed debut album, Reckless, Wade brings her latest project to life with a fierce, introspective setlist inspired by years of touring exhaustion and media scrutiny.
Having swiftly established herself as a celebrated mainstay of the UK alt-pop scene, Dublin native Orla Gartland kicks off Albert Hall’s April schedule with an eagerly anticipated performance featuring songs from her ambitious, assured and unapologetically brash sophomore album.
Ahead of their forthcoming record Everything Must Make Sense, due for release in February, Yorkshire indie outfit The Sherlocks return to Albert Hall with another rollicking live gig featuring a slate of blistering new tunes, alongside the beloved hits which have garnered a broad and ferociously devoted fanbase.
Beginning as a determined touring band on the British pub and club circuit, The Sherlocks have since showcased their searing rock sound in arenas and stadiums with the likes of Liam Gallagher, Kings of Leon, Kaiser Chiefs and others.
