Colin Hoult brings his award-winning show Colin to Fairfield Social Club, Alice Brine headlines XS Malarkey and Beat The Frog finds its champion at the ‘World Series’.
It’s a big day on Tue 5 Nov as this country celebrates Bonfire Night and the US awaits its latest bin fire at the Presidential election, so why not celebrate with one last big night of comedy down at 53Two. Australian comic Alice Brine will be on hand to provide fireworks of her own with her incendiary wit and hilarious personal anecdotes.
Comedian Colin Hoult sheds the wig, dress and character of Anna Mann to present himself on stage for the first time in this award-winning show simply titled Colin. Hoult offers up this personal, and hilarious, show about family, fatherhood, and a formative childhood experience with a Ouija board and a gorilla. One of the most talked about shows from this year’s Edinburgh Fringe, Hoult is a masterful story teller and we can’t to see more of him as himself.

Every Monday The Frog & Bucket welcomes a slew of excitable and terrified new comedians to Beat The Frog where they hope to last longer than 5 minutes on stage. If they are able to best this metaphorical gong and go on to win the night they are entered into heats for ‘The World Series’. This Monday is the final of said series and though you may not know the names going in, they’re sure to be ones that stick in your mind at the end. Check out the future of UK comedy on Oldham Street on a Monday night.
