XS Malarkey celebrate their final show of the calendar year (there’s a party next week but this will be the last stand-up night proper for 2024) with one of their absolute favourites. The wonderfully funny Rob Rouse headlines another special evening of comedy for Toby Hadoke and his team at XS and we can’t think of a better comic to spread festive cheer and glad tidings. Rotherham’s best entertainer is back in Manchester to raise money for his own working men’s club with a festive quiz at Fairfield Social Club. Winner of this year’s Best Newcomer at the Edinburgh Fringe where it was the hottest ticket in town, character comedian Joe Kent-Walters’ creation Frankie Monroe has had a fantastic 2024 and hopes to go out with a bang with a crazy old quiz and some guest appearances from his funny friends.

Charlotte Cropper and Beth Moore are quietly leading a revolution in Manchester’s comedy scene as they add to their good and whimsical work at their monthly Slumber Party night with Fight Club. A safe space for women and non-binary comedians to work on new things in a supportive and funny environment. This has proven so popular and inclusive that they feel confident enough to put on a showcase of those performers who have shared their time and work at Fight Club.
