Viral dog rescuer Niall Harbison brings a night of canine-inspired conversation to Lowry this spring.

Just a few years ago, Niall’s life looked very different. Addiction had almost gotten the better of him before he came across Tina, a dog shackled to a short chain in Thailand, malnourished and barely hanging on.

Something about Tina stopped Niall in his tracks — maybe it was how she reminded him of his own battles, or simply that golden retrievers are a rare breed in the country. Whatever it was, Niall set about rescuing Tina and nursing her back to health, a decision which sparked a whole new chapter in his life.

An Evening with Niall Harbison sees him poignantly discuss the impact Tina had on his life, and how helping her led to the creation of the Happy Doggo Charity and Tina’s Hospital – a sanctuary for Thailand’s most vulnerable dogs.

Alongside Tina’s legacy, Niall will reflect on other incredible dogs he’s met along the way and the lessons they taught him. Audiences will be invited to ask their own questions to Niall, in what promises to be a night of uplifting and unique conversation about the power of man’s best friend.

An Evening with Niall Harbison comes to Lowry on Wed 14 May. Tickets are on sale now, grab yours using the button below.
