This Easter holiday, Jodrell Bank stages another action-packed programme of family-friendly fun and daily activities, from jaw-dropping planetarium shows and live science demonstrations to outdoor crafts sessions and alien egg scavenger hunts.
Screening on Wed 9 and Wed 6 Apr, the interactive planetarium show Ted’s Space Adventure transports budding cosmonauts on an enchanting journey across the stars, led by furry spacefaring adventurer Ted and his faithful sidekick, Plant. Perfect for pre-schoolers, this spectacular show explores the endless wonders of the universe and how the things we find throughout the cosmos affect us in different ways. Book tickets HERE.
Back by popular demand, the Curious Kids Magic vs. Science show promises to leave visitors speechless with captivating demonstrations, breathtaking experiments and fascinating scientific facts from Jodrell’s team of in-house experts. Entry is included in your admission ticket, with seats available on a first-come-first-served basis.
Throughout the holidays, visitors can get up close and hands-on with the magic of science in a series of creative outdoor space crafting sessions, ideal for inspiring and entertaining restless kids and reintroducing adult astronauts to the marvellous mysteries of deep space.
This year, extraterrestrial life has taken up residence in the rolling Cheshire countryside. Grab an Easter trail sheet at the ticket booth and join the hunt for alien eggs on a family-fun scavenge across Jodrell’s scenic surroundings.
As always, visitors at Jodrell Bank can enjoy an array of dazzling daily activities around the site throughout the break, including interactive exhibitions, insightful Telescope Talks and show-stopping films in the Space Dome, including The Great Solar System Adventure.
