Had a nightmare job? Got a satisfying story of quitting on a high? Here’s your chance to share it, as spoken wordsters Effed Up hosts a jobs-themed night at the Castle Hotel. Promising ‘broken word, stand-up tragedy, music and true life stories’, Effed Up Jobs will feature comedians and poets, plus stories from the floor (audience permitting). A show-and-tell segment will present a true story told by means of five props, with the night’s proceedings hosted by poet Dale Lately. With such a contentious subject, we’re expecting effing and blinding galore.
