This October, Jodrell Bank hosts a series of special screenings of Wallace & Gromit: A Grand Day Out, accompanied by a live performance of the film’s soundtrack.
Taking place on Sat 24 Oct & Sun 25 Oct, during October half term, a collective of talented musicians will bring the beloved film’s music to life in the spectacular surroundings of Jodrell’s Space Dome, alongside an accompanying programme of hands-on activities.
The show has been developed in partnership with Carrot Productions, the acclaimed performers of The Snowman ™ with orchestra and creators of 2026’s Aardman in Concert.
Families can also choose to take part in an optional space-themed creative workshop, priced at £6pp, with clay stations where children and adults alike can make their own plasticine moon.
Plus, after each performance, the audience will have the chance to meet the musicians and have their photograph taken with Wallace & Gromit against the stunning backdrop of the UNESCO World Heritage site.
