A celebration of global cuisine and craft is set to take over Stockport this weekend, as the first-ever International Food & Craft Market rolls into town.

Coming to Merseyway Shopping Centre throughout the weekend, an eclectic mix of street food vendors and arts and crafts makers will be popping up from Fri – Sun, between 9am – 5pm.

Visitors will be able to sample dishes from around the world, from traditional hog roasts and fiery curries to wok favourites and Caribbean creations.

For those with a sweet tooth, cheesecakes, fudge and sweets will also be available, while shoppers can browse a selection of unique gifts from artisan traders, with everything from handcrafted marble chess sets, bath bombs, fashion pieces, accessories and more.

Victoria Nichol, Merseyway Centre Manager said “Stockport has a fantastic reputation when it comes to championing all things food and drink and the town truly is in for a real treat this weekend!

This event will showcase fantastic cuisine from small businesses whilst bringing something different into Merseyway. We’re really excited about this weekend-long event and encourage everyone to come down and try something new!”
