Chorlton’s Beech Road, a flourishing food and drink hotspot in the suburbs, is set to gain a brand-new neighbourhood cocktail bar next month.
97 is the latest concept from the team behind Tariff & Dale and The Lead Station, and promises an ‘intimate, elegant and informal’ space to enjoy creative, quality cocktails that range from signature serves to timeless classics with a twist.
Over the summer, Chorlton-native and general manager Ellie undertook a six-month grand tour around Europe, visiting some of the most prestigious bars on the continent to help shape 97’s offering.
The in-depth cocktail list will sit alongside a curated collection of fine wines, craft beers and premium spirits.
With an intimate 35 covers, 97 will be cosy, warm and low lit, using a mix of natural materials, muted colourways, large mirrors and brass accents.
