Manchester’s affinity with Vietnamese cuisine looks set to kick on for the foreseeable, with Namii Kitchen and Cocktails arriving in the city next month.
Taking over the old Blackhouse Grill site on New York Street, the new addition will specialise in pan Asian cuisine heavily influenced by Vietnamese cooking.
The menu will include a range of south-Asian classics like pho, bahn mi and summer rolls, along with an innovative brunch menu that puts a Vietnamese twist on classic brunch dishes—think Eggs Royale with honey miso dressing.
There’ll also be an exciting, sustainable cocktail menu, which has been inspired by Vietnamese mythology and folklore. Expect creations like The Horse of Iron, which mixes up Roku Gin, Ginkgo Kernel and Wasabi Syrup.
Each weekend there’ll be an array of live music and DJs to soundtrack your evening out, and an ever-changing series of residencies from renowned spirit and wine brands.
Owner and Managing Director Terence Lee, said of the opening: ‘We can’t wait to open our doors in Manchester. The city has established itself as one of the UK’s most exciting food destinations over the past decade and we’re thrilled to be able to add to the line-up.
Namii Kitchen and Cocktails will throw open its doors on Sat 6 Nov, though bookings are already open. Hit the link below to grab a spot.
