A powerful new play about the devastating impact of one-punch violence comes to HOME this February.
Based on tragic true events, though in this instance told through a fictional storyline, One Punch is written by BAFTA-winner Jane Thornton and Martha Godber, who have worked closely with charity One Punch Hull on its creation.
Funny, gritty, emotional and shocking, the show, which comes from acclaimed theatre group The John Godber Company, follows two lifelong friends on a night out in Hull. What should have been a routine evening out ends in catastrophic and completely avoidable circumstances.
One Punch holds little back in its depiction of the visceral realities of the lifelong impact a split-second decision can have on not just the victims, but the perpetrators and wider family members.
Fresh from sold-out runs in East Yorkshire, One Punch comes to HOME from Wed 12 Feb – Sat 15 Feb. Book your tickets using the button below.
