A Queer Revue! – LGBT cabaret at Band on the Wall

Pride may be over, but there’s still some great LGBT events coming up on the calendar. Coming in early October is A Queer Revue!, a night of music, film, and drag taking place at Band on the Wall. The night begins at the venue’s Picturehouse bar, with cocktails, poetry, and films. Then the doors will be flung open to the main concert hall for performances and DJs. On the playbill are outrageous acts from Manchester’s underground LGBT scene, including both established artists and rising stars. Performers include drag artist Anna Phylactic, and dancers Joshua Hubbard and Tom Kuzniar. On the decks will be Off the Hook, the uniquely-named Bollox, and the folks from Cha Cha Boudoir bar. MCing the proceedings will be Joyce D’Vision – a star of stage, screen and Grindr.
