Castlefield Viaduct will be transformed into one of the city’s most unique open-air theatres this June.

Following last year’s sell-out, Facing North Theatre will return to the Grade II listed viaduct with one of Shakespeare’s most famous tales of all time, A Midsummer Night’s Dream.

A Midsummer Night’s Dream: Abridged on a Bridge promises audiences a ‘fast-paced, fun-filled farce’ featuring some of Shakespeare’s best-loved characters set against the Mancunian skyline.

Facing North Theatre specialises in the creation of performances outside traditional theatre spaces, transforming public areas and inviting audiences to engage with their surroundings in a different way.

Tickets to the intimate performances are super limited, with less than 40 available per showing.

A Midsummer Night’s Dream: Abridged on a Bridge comes to Castlefield Viaduct from Wed 19 Jun – Fri 21 Jun, with two performances per day. Book your tickets using the button below.
