The team behind Disco Stus and Abba Disco is putting on a Stranger Things themed party at Deaf Institute on Friday 22 July.

Just as the two final episodes of season 4 go live, Manchester has received long-awaited news from the Upside Down. With one of the most iconic soundtracks of any TV show, the Hawkins-based bash promises plenty of nostalgic euphoria, as well as a load of surprises too.

While Kate Bush has dominated the charts in recent weeks due to her song ‘Running Up That Hill’ being featured heavily in the show, other songs have enjoyed a cultural rejuvenation, namely the Clash’s ‘Should I Stay or Should I Go’ and the theme song from Never Ending Story.

Fancy dress is highly encouraged with the DJs being dressed up for the occasion, so expect to see plenty of sailors (Steve and Robin’s season 3 get up) and 80s wigs (Eddie from Season 4).

Tickets for the Stranger Things Party on Friday July 22 are available here.
