A three-day pierogi festival comes to the Great Northern this week

Much-loved Polish spot Platzki has announced details of its always-popular pierogi festival, with this year’s edition extended by an extra day.

Now spread over three days from Wed 12 Jun – Fri 14 Jun, Platzki will be serving nothing but their incredible pierogis in meat, vegan, vegetarian and even sweet varieties.

With no advance bookings being taken, the festival always attracts large crowds. To help cope with the huge demand, the team will be running longer opening hours, serving from 1pm – 10pm.

Guests will be able to grab a portion of five pierogis and a soft drink for just £8, which can be enjoyed either dining in or to take away.

Everything will be available on a first-come-first-served basis, so head down early to avoid disappointment.
