On Sun 29 Sep, renowned comedian and star of QI, Have I Got News For You and more Kiri Pritchard-McLean takes over the Royal Exchange with a night of riotous riffs, side-splitting anecdotes and searing social commentary.

Billed as her funniest and most personal tour to date, Pritchard-McLean’s Peacock tour lifts the lid on her new life as a foster carer, having been unable to discuss any aspect of her guardianship on stage, nor her career as a wildly successful comic with the kids in her care – until now.

Following a whirlwind ascendancy during which she hosted Live at the Apollo, fronted the Radio 4 panel show Best Medicine and started her own comedy school, the co-creator and co-host of cult hit podcast All Killa No Filla arrives in Manchester with an ingenious excavation of her foster care journey, from social workers and first aid training to hilarious blunders and what not to do when a vicar looks you up on Youtube.

Known for making ‘powerhouse stand-up from the thorniest of subjects’ (The Guardian), Kiri Pritchard-McLean – or ‘Louise’, for professional anonymity – presents a hysterical and heart-warming show promising ‘sequins, social commentary, and massive laughs from the renaissance woman of UK comedy.’ (Rolling Stone)
