Led by the memorable figure of Kawabata Makoto, heralded by The Wire as “one of the greatest post-Hendrix blood and fire guitarists”, Acid Mothers Temple offer for a Sunday evening service of acid rock worship. These Japanese psych stalwarts have been honing their craft since the mid 1990s and have amassed a back catalogue of over 30 studio albums, however its the live arena where they truly stand alone. Previous Manchester shows at Islington Mill and The Ruby Lounge reflect a band with an irrepressible spirit and a sound that is  nothing but bold. With support from local psychedelic, free-Kraut supergroup, Desmadrados Soldados De Ventura, its the perfect tonic to end off your weekend.
