Manchester’s African music collective Amani Creatives have booked Cameroonian singer Coco Mbassi for a showcase at Band on the Wall this December. Mbassi is a multi-award winning artist who brings a meaningful edge songs which draw on jazz, classical and traditional arrangements. Joining Mbassi are musicians from Manchester’s Amani Live collective, a group of world-class local musicians with African roots. Expect a showcase of contemporary and traditional songs, as part of a series of independent and collective sets. A must for those interested in West African music.
