In our latest pick from the Albert Hall’s packed spring schedule, we’ve gone for acclaimed American folk-rockers, Midlake, who take to the stage this Sunday.

Having just released their long-awaited fifth studio album For the Sake of Bethel Woods—their first since 2013—audiences will finally have the chance to hear new material from the group in person, all in the spectacular setting of the Albert Hall.

Largely recorded during lockdown, the new record marked the first time the Texas outfit called in a producer to lead the recording process.

The end result is an album described as a warming expression of resolve and renewal for Midlake, opening up new possibilities while still celebrating their renowned history.
