This September will see Manchester’s Albert Hall welcome back the Bavarian bier festival that is Oktoberfest 2019. The party kicks off here this Autumn to coincide with the official launch of the festivities over in Munich. Following on from the festival’s massive success last year, which brought in over two thousand people to its first event, the second annual instalment of the two-day beer haven will bring back the Bavarian bier bombardment to the city centre. The event will open its doors for a weekend of Euro fun on Fri 20 and Sat 21 Sept with tickets available from as little as £11. The Albert Hall Oktoberfest event will offer beer lovers a fine stein selection, including authentic limited edition Bavarian brews from Spaten, Paulaner and Hacker Pschorr. Going ‘head to head’ with Germany in a battle of the beers competition will be some of Manchester’s very own Seven Bro7hers and Blackjack brews. The party atmosphere is also offering up 3 bier hall sessions of authentic Bavarian oompah (including a best dressed lederhosen competition), a Bratwurst eating championship and great live music from local renowned DJs.
It doesn’t take an Ein-stein to realise this event will quickly sell out again, so secure your ticket to the party while you can.
