Since Alex Horne’s new show is called ‘Lies’ it’s very difficult to find any information out about it that doesn’t seem spurious. Be it his claim that he’s 30 years old, his many Bafta awards or the platinum records he purports to have sold, there really could be anything going on at Horne’s show. Forever inventing new ways to convey comedic pretence, Horne ambles down to the delightful Chorley Little Theatre (which we’re aware isn’t in Manchester but it’s only a 40-minute train journey away), with his new enigmatic show that could be about anything, but will definitely be witty, insightful, and more than likely full of lies.
