With a lineup boasting virtually all the biggest figures in British comedy from the last twenty years, the inaugural LAUGHTERAMA Festival comes to Castlefield Bowl from 21-25 September with a jaw-dropping series of shows from the best stand-up comics in the business, alongside an impressive bar selection and irresistible street food from acclaimed local vendors.

While James Acaster’s headline slot naturally sold out within hours, the six preceding shows – each featuring a glittering bill of huge names – still have limited availability. On Wednesday 21 September8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown star David O’Doherty tops a lineup starring Rose Matafeo, Josh Jones, the incomparable Daniel Kitson and others. The following day, Alan Partridge star Tim Key, Amy Gledhill, Mike Wozniak and Catherine Bohart join the generational voice of headliner Nish Kumar, before Milton Jones and Reginald D. Hunter headline Friday 23 September‘s schedule.

Kicking off a gag-packed weekend of double-bills, Live At The Apollo and Netflix star Phil Wang joins British Comedy Award-winner Aisling Bea and a host of future stars in the Saturday afternoon slot, before Josh Widdicombe, Ivo Graham and others close out the evening. Comedic icon Dylan Moran tops the Sunday afternoon lineup, which also features Fern Brady, Huge Davis and Maisie Adam, before James Acaster and Jamal Maddix’s sold out show rounds off the festival.
