An Asian food night market is set to take over Stockport’s St Mary’s Church this Friday.

Every second Friday of the month, the EatGoodWest market brings an array of traders to the 700-year-old church, with visitors invited to sample dishes from Japan, Korea, Thailand, China, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and more.

Inside the church, guests can bring their plates and unwind to live Asian-inspired music and performances, all of which are completely free to enjoy.

EatGoodWest was set up by a group of young locals who wanted to bring people together through good food and good conversation, and the market has now become a fixture in the Stockport food calendar since launching two years ago.

“At its heart, EatGoodWest is about connection, care, and community,” says the team. “We just want to make Stockport feel a little warmer — one meal at a time.”

The EatGoodWest night market will be open from 5pm – 10pm.
