Salford’s famous hub of creativity, Islington Mill, is throwing open its doors this weekend for a full festive takeover.

On Sat 13 Dec, the Mill’s Winter Open Day invites the public to explore all the nooks and crannies of the building, with a full day of independent Christmas markets, exhibitions, workshops and entertainment.

Running from 12pm until late, there’ll be an array of traders to peruse, perfect for picking up unique gifts. Loads of the venue’s residents will be running open studios, offering a unique behind-the-scenes glimpse at their work, and there’ll be food supplied by the much-loved zero-waste specialists, The Deli Lama.
