In the nursery rhyme we never really found out what happened after the cow jumped over the moon but it seems when the dish ran away with the spoon, they ended up going to the park. Well, it is unseasonably warm (yes, we know what season it is) so why not. The Burton Road tea room And The Dish Ran Away With The Spoon in soon to pop up in Didsbury Park’s Holt Pavilion. After recently being listed as one of the top 50 tea rooms in the UK by the Independent, they have joined forces with local neighbourhood care group Didsbury Good Neighbours to bring their cakes and bakes to the park for this unlikely summer we’re all enjoying at the moment. They will also be taking more from their award-winning menu including salads, platters, savoury tarts and seasonal soup, as well as healthy snacks for kids, baby change facilities, picnic blankets and a range of milkshakes, iced coffees and organic drinks. So run away to the park with the Dish and the Spoon. You won’t regret it.
